Rangely Assembly of God Church, the "Church of the Lost and Found" is part of the Assemblies of God fellowship founded in 1914. This means that we are part of a larger body of like minded believers. The links at the bottom of the page will give you lots more information, but the items discussed below will help you see how we fit into the body of Christ

Protestant: We are a Protestant fellowship. This means we believe that each person may commune directly with God based upon Jesus' death on the cross. This provides a personal and meaningful relationship with Him. While we are lees than formal in our worship than many others Protestant denominations, we are very similar in faith, with the exception of our Pentecostal doctrine.

Trinitarian: Like most church groups we  believe that God exists in three persons - the Father, the Son (Jesus), and the Holy Spirit. We believe this God of three persons is the one and only true God.

Evangelical: Because we place such a high priority on the inspiration of scripture and it's mission to bring the lost to a saving knowledge and relationship with Jesus Christ.

Pentecostal: Our fellowship is full gospel. One where the Holy Spirit is welcomed, nurtured, and taught. This includes speaking in tongues, prophesies, word of knowledge, healing, and a host of other "gifts" of the Holy Spirit as indicated in the Bible.

Among Pentecostal Churches, the Assemblies of God is the largest world wide, with more than 35 million constituents.
